有感于“太极十年不出门,形意一年打死人”
<p>这些天,在读形意拳老前辈李仲轩先生口述徐皓峰整理的《逝去的武林——1934年的求武纪事》,感悟很多。</p><p><font size="3">李仲轩<span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">先生年轻时,拜入三位形意拳大师门下,后引退几十年,未曾受过武术表演华和商品化潮流的侵扰,他所见证的三位大师的生活、功夫造诣,令人窥见了原汁原味的中华武学。李仲轩先生生于书香门第,被唐维禄悉心培养,后又被尚云祥、薛颠破例收于门下,三位大师看中的是他的文化素质。果然,一个甲子过去,人间经过有一个轮回,当三位大师的徒弟一辈人尽数凋零的时候,李仲轩凭借他的文化素质,给世人留下了三位大师的言行和武学。<br/><br/>当读到93页时,有一段尚云祥先生说的话,才明白“太极十年不出门,形意一年打死人”这句话的真正含义,现摘录如下:<br/>当时武林有“练形意拳招邪”的说法,因为许多练形意拳的拳师,一上年纪,腿脚就不好,甚至短寿,还有年轻小伙子练了几个月形意拳,身体亏损很厉害,神经衰弱、肾虚各种毛病都出来了。有人认为是招邪了,但念经符咒都没用,身体仍一天天坏下去。</span></font></p><p><font size="3"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-ascii-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hansi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">李仲轩当年曾问是何原因,尚云祥解释:“形意拳是内家拳,练的是精气神,练功的时候应该把精气神含住,但很多拳师都在练打人,将精气神提起来,一发劲都发出去了,还能不短命?不明白动静有别,身体当然出毛病。”<br/><br/>尚云祥还说过,俗话讲“太极十年不出门,形意一年打死人”,学形意拳的都在学“打死人”,最终把自己打死了。然后告诉李仲轩,打太极要带点形意的充沛,打形意要带点太极的含蓄。……<br/><br/></span></font></p> <p>受益!</p> This is a good point. I was wondering where does this phrase <font size="3"><span style="font-family: 宋体;">太极十年不出门,形意一年打死人” comes from.<br/><br/>As a fan of Tai Ji, I know that Tai Ji has a tons of practical usages. Yet, the fundamental is still the fundamental. Quan Ja is always the first priority.<br/><br/>Just my 2cent. <br/><br/>If there is anything wrong, please correct me.<br/><br/>thsu :)<br/></span></font> From my understanding, Quan Jia is one of the ways to where you want to head, a part of basic things but not first priority.
